Check this page out to see what Baptist women have been doing around the globe recently!

As we each let God work through us in our locality, region or country, the light that shines from our efforts connects with the light from the efforts of other Baptist women so that we become like a "city set on a hill" shining for all to see! Keep shining, Baptist women!

February 2018

The 2018 Executive & General Council Meetings held in Malawi were a great success. It was a meeting where Baptist Leaders in Africa came together to learn from one another. The theme “I Will Build My Church: Best Practices for Effective Ministries” which focused on lessons on Cooperative Autonomy, Organizational Structure, Evangelism, Church Planting, Finance, Health Services, Discipling the next Generation, and Leadership was well received.
We were also privileged to have the leadership of the American Baptist Mission Society (International Ministries) join us at the meetings.
We have learned a lot from the sharing of experiences and the opportunity of partnership within the Conventions/Unions.
All the BWUA EC attended the AABF General Council. We also took the opportunity to meet with the women for a meeting. More pictures are included on the BWUA Facebook page.
I was invited to minister women in rural area. There I met women who are strongly committed to Christ. I was given a white chicken that is for special guests.Meeting with them will be remembered as a huge success. I praise God for that.  Written by Marthe Ekollo, BWUA President (center of the photo)

In January, 2018, the Bolivian Baptist Women held their annual conference, celebrating 64 years as a Union!
